Volunteer Webmaster Needed!
If you have webmaster experience or technical aptitude and a willingness to learn, we need you!
The club is looking for a volunteer webmaster effective for the 2022/2023 hiking year. The AGM is November 8th so the handover to the new volunteer will begin after the AGM. The outgoing webmaster will be available to mentor the new person. The club is planning to hire a website developer to build a new site. So, the new volunteer will be closely involved in that initiative.
Overview of Webmaster's Duties:
Develop the NSH website using mainstream tools (currently WordPress but this could change, depending on the advice of the expert we hire.) Ensure that the site is dependable, secure, user-friendly, up-to-date and backed up. Attend NSH executive meetings (approximately 6 per year.)
