Annual NSH X’mas Party, 2019

Mark your calendars for the ANNUAL NSH XMAS PARTY
                            Friday Dec 13; 2019. After 6pm.

                Bring your own drink and a prepared-ahead dish to share
Enjoy an evening of socializing with fellow hikers and meet our new members. This year there will be a contest to name  “Special Places in Canada”. The slideshow will take place at 7:30 so be sure to arrive by that time.  Prizes will be awarded to those with the most correct answers.
If you have a photo of an interesting hiking spot in Canada to contribute, be sure to send it to  bkitts52@hotmail.com before Dec 1.

Christmas Party 2018

Date: December 13th 5:30 p.m.
Venue: Once again, Lesley Bohm has kindly offered to host our Christmas
function. Her address is visible right here for members who have logged in to this site. Parking on street.
What to bring: Potluck fingerfood. Wine or Beer. Non alcohol punch will be available.

Lesley will run a slide show on their computer of her many trips - hiking, paddling, Morocco, Nepal, South Africa, etc.

Christmas Party 2017

We are organizing a different type of Christmas party this year. It will be held on Wednesday December 13 th 6.00 - 10.00 pm, at a private home, the address of which is visible right here for members who have logged in to this site. Menu will be Finger Foods (appetizers and desserts). Potluck so bring your favourite appetizer or dessert. Non-Alcoholic punch will be served. BYOB but remember if you are driving! Tea and coffee.

Entertainment will be presented by Donna Nyberg and Cristina Jacob. Donna will give 2 slideshows on her trips to South America and to Antarctica. After this, Cristina Jacob will play her DVD on Antarctica in the background as socializing and feasting continue.
