All North Shore Hikers events are posted on Meetup. After joining NSH, you will need a free Meetup account to view hikes, RSVP, and receive event updates. Meetup may prompt you to pay for its own plan, but you can bypass that. You do not need a paid Meetup subscription to participate in NSH events.

Do I need to be a paid member to join an event?
If you are new to our Meetup group and haven’t attended events with us before, you have a trial of 2 events before becoming a paid member
We want you to come out with us, get a feel for the club, meet the leaders, and decide if North Shore Hikers is the right fit for you. Once you've done that, we ask you to become a paid member.
How do I become a member?
Click the "Become a Member" button at the top of the page. It takes you to a secure PayPal payment page for the $30 fee. CLICK to PAY
You don't need a PayPal account. PayPal accepts Apple Pay, credit & debit cards, and more, without an account.
You'll receive a payment confirmation by email. That's your proof of membership for the current membership year.
Your membership is active right away. You can RSVP to events on Meetup as you normally would. Leaders will know you're a paid member through the club's records.
You'll sign this waiver at the trailhead before each event. This applies to all participants — members and guests.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my membership?
No. Membership fees are non-refundable.
