7 members and 1 guest met at the White Lake Trailhead at 8:30. It was a sunny day. We took the Old Helipad route. As usual, that part of the trail was quite empty. Lesley gave tips about the trees, and introduced some of us to Manzanita. We had a short break at the lake. Returning by Nelson Creek had very few hikers, which is unusual. We were back in the surprisingly empty parking lot shortly after 11:30.
