What time does the sun rise on January 1, 2023?
Seven NS hikers wanted to know so they hiked up Hollyburn.
It is definitely the time to go, no people, no dogs, no one sliding down on their bums.
The inevitable concerns, such as how many cars should we take, snowshoes or not, and is everyone here, become a little more complicated in the dark without enough coffee.
We got the best parking spots and were walking by 7:45 without headlights. Brunch @ 9:35 and home before noon. Sure someone forgot their stashed snowshoes, but another person retrieved them. But hey we started early.
