Steveston “mini-donuts”- need I say more? Mouthwatering delectable morsels that pop in your mouth leaving a grin from ear to ear… thanks M.U. AND L.W. for the lunch time treats!!!
Nine bikers people signed up, but one had to work, leaving eight. Seven biked from the second oldest park in Vancouver, Clark Park to Finn Slough and picked up another rider, but we were still seven, as one person had to drop out due to a leaky tire. We had a long snack break at the dog park picnic area and a long lunch break in Steveston near the fish market. Then we biked down Crabapple Ridge to Terra Nova Gardens and to the north dyke. Once on the north dyke we said goodbye to another rider as she was just getting backing shape after two years off.
Six bikers went towards the airport and then over Arthur Laing Bridge and down to Arbutus Ridge and turning right at 37th ridgeway back to Inverness. The total distance was 60 km. Thanks M.U. for the stats.
