When I published the trip update for this trip as “June 4”, Thursday was the brightest day of the week! But yesterday morning’s weather was discouraging: it wasn’t even light rain just before the meeting time. One of the participants bailed out just 45 minutes before the meeting time. When I rode to the meeting place, the rest of the group was waiting for me under a tree. I suggested riding some other places (shorter than Steveston). I have my full rain gear (rubber boots etc). But the group was ready for everything. Around 16th avenue and Arbutus we started layering off. We stopped in Larry Berg Flight Path Park on the way to No. 2 Rd bridge and followed Crabapple Ridge Bikeway until almost Steveston Harbour. While having our lunch with a harbour view with blue sky, a few of NHS friends joined us!

While coming back, we followed the Railway trail, Canada Line Bridge and Heather St.
This was the first trip after reopening of our club…
