Urban Bike Ride – August 18

Joanne repeated her urban Surrey to Delta bike ride.  She has made improvements every time she did the route.   There are many greenways in Surrey.   Joanne connected them so well that we had a biking route with varieties of terrains and views to enjoy.   

This time, the highlight of the day is to stop at Safeway for lunch <g>….  On a day in the mid of heat wave, we sipped our ice cold drinks in an air conditioned well ventilated indoor.   This is a 5-stars lunch spot with a clean washroom as well.  We cooled down and well rested for our return leg to the jeep.

To add the excitement of my day… I had a flat tire just before lunch.  Thanks to a helpful cyclist on the trail, the flat was changed and we swiftly carried on.
