The plan to ride to UBC today was thwarted by an unexpected road closure at the bottom of the UBC hill. But what a glorious ride to get there along the beaches…log-strewn beaches, fresh snow glinting in the sun on our north shore mountains providing the backdrop to picturesque boats on the ocean…we really do have the best place in the world to live in. Never fear! We took a trail up to UBC thru the forest and picnicked in the sun with an ocean view. We even got a few raindrops at the end of the ride. Looking forward to many more rides now that cycling season is here!
