Hike To Lindsay Lake
10 am start due to not reading Bengul’s great instructions about where she was going to park. Who knew to look at a parking lot map? Note to self: Look at instructions more carefully. No cell reception in parking lot.
6 of us hiked to Polytichrum Lookout in an hour. (Picture by Bengul of us askew.)
Rick led us to El Paso junction. We walked vistas: at least cinco vistas of the city approx. 1000m below. Sometimes the views were better than Diez Vistas with fewer people.
We followed lake after lake after tarns. Chickadee, Wren, St. Mary’s, Siskin, Jessica, and Lindsay. We named the tarns after ourselves: Lynne, Andrea, Michelle, Bengul, and Rick. Nancycatch Creek was dry and this is still June.
There was no dillydallying! We left the parking lot at 5pm. The group got me to my Jazz fest volunteer shift on time.
Thanks group.

Thank you for co-leading this hike and giving me a ride, Rick!
Thank you for joining us all for this great hike! I haven’t been on this side of Buntzen Lake….
It was not buggy at all as I was told…
