Eight bikers enjoyed the North Shore biking trails. Seven met at Terra Breads, eighth one met the group at Ambleside Beach for this exploratory bike trip. We traveled along the seaside trail past science world to Stanley Park. Once we were in the park, Wendy lead us thru gravel paths and forests to the beginning of the bridge. Nice change of pace from the usual pavement. After crossing one biker left the group, another biker joined at Ambleside Beach. As I have never done the green necklace before we had wonderful guidance from members of the group. I had a route picked out using Google maps. But since I was not from the area the route I selected was a very busy route with cars. One member (who lives on the north shore) expertly guided us to the green necklace loop. If you have not done it, I highly recommend it. I plan to go back and explore more.
Unfortunately i had a flat tire just before the down part of the route. Fortunately Wendy and Marg was there to help me.
Big thank you Marg for helping get my tire filled with air so at least rolls and big thanks to Wendy for directing and waiting with me while my tire was being repaired.
Unfortunately because of my tire situation, I was not able to complete the entire route. Hope to see you all out in another ride.
