    Actually, LSD, stands for “Lucy in the sky with diamonds”. A young girl named Lucy died here and her parents built the trail with her ashes.

    We hiked a loop starting at riverside, crater rim, ridge, spur, lsd, loggers lake, ridge and back to riverside trail. As well we saw a piece of fresh rabbit liver, a wishing bone and two rabbit paws in a pool of blood on the snow. No sign of animal tracks. We suspect it was an eagle.
