Thank you for organizing last weekend hikes in Squamish and being so gracious host and opening your beautiful home, Cristina!
On Saturday, March 18, seven of us met at Sea to Sky Gondola base around 10 am; took the gondola up and snowshoed on the Skyline ridge trail by lunch. The weather was cloudy when we started, were trying to opening up. We got a stormy weather when we stopped for lunch. Then quickly everybody packed up everything and started to descend. We follow the Shannon Basin loop while going back to Summit Lodge. The sky was clearing on our way back. We were at the chalet around 4:30pm.
On Sunday, March 19, eight of us started to walk towards the trail entrance after 10:30 am. We hiked (or microspiked partially) on the Four Lakes trail. The weather was gorgeous. Sun shined through trees with hanging moss. A few people were sunbathing by the icy lakes.
