Three NSH adventurers met up at Spanish Banks in time for low, low tide and tried to make it out to the nearest freighter.  As soon as we made it to deep enough water (just short of the freighter it seemed), Lesley was in for a swim.  We managed to beat the dog-walking crowd for the most part and had a lovely time, getting back before the tide turned.  One highlight for me was a shrimp rescue – it was flopping about on the sand and just needed a lift to the nearest puddle to wait for the sea to come back to shore.

Thanks for another memorable nature experience, Lesley!

Next opportunity for a low tide adventure is August 22nd.
