Six Cities Cycle – June 13, 2020
Six riders rode through six cities on a beautiful summer day. We worked our way east from the Vancouver/Burnaby border to New West, Coquitlam, Poco and Port Moody on good bike paths much of the way. A brief “local attraction” stop at the Pita Bread Factory netted Patricia a great deal on a package of 6 fresh pitas for 80 cents and Jenni loaded up her pannier with the elusive Rogers granola at a bargain price. We enjoyed elevenses at Hume Park with a washroom/water/snack stop and a lunch break at the Gathering Place in “downtown” Poco. Along the way, we shared stories of past travels and adventures, good books we’d read and tidbits we’d found on the internet. Thanks to Bengul, Murat, Patricia, Jenni and Rex for a great day. And congrats to all for making it up the hill in Hume Park!
