With Covid lockdowns throughout the world, it is a delight to still have NSH. This particular trip was a delight, as many NSH social bubbles serendipitously met along the trail and it was like a family reunion to see faces I haven’t seen in a long time. We met Shirley hiking on her own, Dana and Andrea hiking together and Lori hiking with her two friends. We had intended to only go to first peak, but the day was warm and sunny and the group elected to extend our journey to second peak. The snow was perfect for snowshoeing in the afternoon as it got very soft in the hot sunshine. It was another wonderful day on the north shore mountains.
