The Diez Vistas hike is one of the most popular day hikes in Metro Vancouver. If you decide to hike during the weekends, be prepare to share your view a lot of hikers. It is also one of my favorites. One reason is snow free most of the time.
Apparently, the Diez Vistas trail was built by Halvor Lunder, an outdoorsman and mountaineer, who volunteered his time to make this trail and many others. He was originally from Norway. – Source: http://www.buntzenlake.ca/diez-vistas/
We need to appreciate his efforts!
Last Wednesday, four of us started to hike from the Buntzen Lake parking lot around 10 am and made it to Vista #5 view point around 1 pm. We did this hike in a counter clockwise direction. We had our lunch with a view of Indian Arm and beyond! The weather was perfect for hiking… Clouds cleared after we finished our hike…

See you on the trails!
