This was a recce (reconnaissance), so not listed on the club schedule. None of us had hiked the first third of it before.

We four met at Bean Around the World in Parkgate Village at 9:15am. We carpooled up the Mount Seymour Road to the parking lot near the second switchback. See GPS track. To hike the loop clockwise, we started north on “Enquist Route” at 9:34am.

It had been raining in recent days, but we chose a rain-free day using weather forecasts 2 days before. That worked nicely, but the creeks were running and quite a bit flowed along the trail for the first 30 minutes’ walk. Better to save this one for a drier season!

520m ascent, 11km distance, 4hours 30min total including stops and some backtracking to find the right way.

No great views, but pretty forests & creeks.  🙂
