Thank you again Barry for leading this hike. Ten of us met at Park Royal before 7 am. When we arrived to the Garibaldi Lake parking area before 8:30 am, the parking spots were full. Hikers had started to park on the roadside. We started to hike around 8:40 am. When we arrived to 6.5 km junction, a park ranger was hanging a sign to direct the backpackers to Taylor Meadows campground since the Garibaldi Lake campsite was full. We had a few water and snack stops along the trail. Mount Price trail entrance from the Garibaldi Lake is not easy. You do a little bit bushwalking. I guess this is purposely done to prevent any hikers wearing runners, sandals on the Garibaldi Lake trail to go beyond that point.

We followed the flags along the trail. We crossed several boulder fields. We ascent through colourful, old lava rocks. Sometimes they were slippery.  The views are stunning. We were so lucky while climbing up since the sky was little bit cloudy.

When we arrived to trail head it was around 6:45 pm.
