Two of us met before 8:15 am at Park Royal Park & Ride lot. Five more NSH hikers joined us at Ferry Terminal in Horseshoe bay. We catched 9 am ferry. We were on the Killarney lake trail around 9:30 am. We followed the Skid trail (entered from 2nd one) while assending. We were at the North submit around 12:15 pm. We heard a helicopter sound while hiking. When we arrived to top, one of the wooden pad (actually helicopter pad) was occupied by a helicopter. A few workers were working inside of one of the containers at the top. As you might know, a lot of human gears are located at the top of Mt. Gardner. We arrived to starting point around 3:15pm. A few of us got tea, coffe or beer before the catching 4 pm ferry.
