    Mount Fromme, Mon 22nd May ’23

    11 hikers left Mt. Fromme  T/H at approx. 9:15; encountered packed snow at approx 900m, most did not put on spikes. Arrived at summit 1185m after ascending 900m in about 2 1/2 hrs. Lunch in peek a boo sun shine; put on spikes for descent. Arrived back at T/H around 2:45 pm without incident.

    Weather mostly overcast with sun peeking through a couple of times

    Thanks to the group for staying together and their good company; and to Martin for taking up rear guard on the way up.
