Four of us stayed overnight at the Coldspring campground. Remarkably quiet after 9pm, except for the highway traffic. We hiked to Poland Lake. Picturesque road most of the way, nice not to have to look down the whole hike. Then next day we walked around Lightning Lake.
Our leader Lesley seems to know every plant in the park. I retained a few names.
Sneaky mosquitos. I thought I was in charge, but forgot to cover my lower legs after getting up in the morning. I wasn’t aware I was being bitten, but I’m covered with bites.
