Manning Park camping Oct 7-9

Three hikers signed up for the multiple day trip but only two have completed the two nights of camping and three days of hiking. It was really cold in the tent on both nights with minus temperatures. We made a mental note NOT TO CAMP AGAIN so late in the year.
First day we arrived early in the afternoon. We selected our camping spot and then  familiarized ourselves with the low level trails and ensured we knew the shortest route from the Lighting Lakes campground to Mt Frosty trailhead. Next day we hiked Mt Frosty trail to the Larches Meadows. BEAUTIFUL, despite the very many hiking parties. On the third day, on the way back home we walked about 10 km around Othello tunnels near Hope. BEAUTIFUL AGAIN.
