The weather seemed promising in the morning but by lunch time we were all cold and wet. The sun showed up ,eventually, as we were back to the parking lot!
10 Hikers showed up for the hike and the lively chat seemed enough of a shield against the rain and snow but we called it quits after 5.5 hours.
We had 3 new club members as part of the hiking group and I wished the weather gods were a bit nicer to them. On the other hand it reminded me of the good old days with FIRM hikes that were going ahead irrespective of weather. Hard core North Shore Hikers!
Thank you Cristina for the report and everyone came out on the “iffy” day.
Yes… we are North Shore Hikers and go rain or shine!
I would like to give credit to Wendy who helped me leading the group, and thank everyone for the good spirits on this forest bathing hike in the rain!!
