Thanks again Barry for leading this hike. Fifteen of us met at Franklin Kamloops parking lot before 7:30 am. We started to hike around 10:15 am from trailhead (Baby Munday trail). We had another wonderful sunny day. At the beginning of the trail, the meadow was overgrown. It was hard to find the trail. After crossing a few spring, waterfall, the trail takes you down Airplane creek. Apparently, there was a commercial airplane crash on the south slope of the peak in 1941 (Ref: Cascade Alpine Guide: Rainy Pass to Fraser River, F. Beckey). While going down, there were a few muddy and slippery sections. The trail became dry as soon as we crossed the creek. After scrambling over dead trees, you start ascending. There were no real switchbacks. Then you start walking over the snow patches. We had a half lunch over the first snowpack. The second part of the lunch was at the peak. We finished hiking just after 5 pm.
