The self guided trip to Italy was beyond epic and went without a hitch. Everyone survived in the extreme heat and sunny weather for 21 days with daily swims in the various seas and grottos. We did not require any rain gear the entire trip. The World Unesco Heritage Cities were magical and we did stay in a traditional  Trulli in Albertobello (technology dates back to 7000 years ago) and 9000 year old caves with thermal baths in Matera. We biked through 70 million+/- olive trees in the heel of Italy and yes the olive oil was to die for. The hiking on the Amalfi Coast and Capri was hard on the knees, but easy on the eyes as we followed the Path of the Gods. It was endless stone steps up and down, with panoramic views to the sparkling Mediterranean sea and towns that cascade down into the sea.

Hopefully, I can put a slide show together in the fall and show you all our adventures.

    Cheers, Ye
