The weekend kicked off with a hike on top of Blackcomb where we admired views of Black Tusk and Garibaldi mtns. The next day we chose a Pemberton hike of 5 hrs to a lookout used for paragliding. The Pemberton Valley was barely visible as smokey conditions worsened. On the bright side we visited a microbrewery for a couple of flights and finished the day off with a potluck. Thanks so much for all the contributions
The smoke deterred some from participating in the Slow Food Cycle, However, Ryszard and I rode the 30 km as we couldn’t resist the music, beer or the variety of organic foods. Too bad about the weather, next year we shall try again.
