Goat Mountain (July 27, 2021)

Good hike led by Maurice Little.

Thank you Maurice for leading the hike – another classic one with the North Shore Hikers.

Maurice is so knowledgeable in the NS mountains.  He will make sure all participants have a view of the peaks around us.

We have 10 people at the start and all of us summit the Goat Mountain and enjoy an extended, rewarding and relaxing lunch break.

Without surprise, we did not follow the “usual” route.  Maurice took us to the more interesting but safer routes to reach the top of Goat Mountain via Little Goat.   On return, we went further onto the Goat Ridge to experience another view down to Hanes Valley.  Just before we do our final descent, four of us went up Dam Mountain to complete a loop for the day!
