Please see Toni’s write-up for our hike:
“Bengül picked a perfect day to lead a group of five hikers from the top of the Grouse Gondola, via Dam Mt. to the summit of Goat Mt. It was sunny, a perfect temperature, with a light, cool breeze just when we needed it. To a flat-lander from Ontario hiking this mountain for the first time, I continued to be amazed by the stunning scenery and mountain scenery so close to home, especially the spectacular 360⁰ views from the top. Unmistakable Crown Mt. stood out nearby and the peaks in Squamish and beyond were visible in the distance, along with Coliseum and many other mountains. En route we looked down into beautiful Hanes Valley with Kennedy Lake nestled between the mountainsides. On top we lingered over lunch, watched over by an opportunistic raven. The trail was well marked, with ropes and chains in a few spots just where needed to assist with some easy scrambling. Thanks to Bengül for another wonderful hiking experience.”

Have a good summer everyone!
