Nine of us hiked to Elfin Shelters led by Brent Ehrl. The weather was overcast. Some of our group saw two black bears up in the trees just past the red heather shelter. We got to Elfin Shelters and when we left it started raining. There were whiskey jacks at the red heather shelter and lots of blueberries that we saved for the bears. Thanks to those that helped get park day passes. Brent thanks everyone for coming.
