Three of us NSH hiked to Elfin Lakes Nov 30. Sunny morning. High cloud in the pm. Great views. Nice to get out for a hike at this time of year. Not quite enough snow for snowshoes or skiing yet although there were a few people out with skis or split boards. Marginal conditions above Red Heather. No skiing on the road. Microspikes came in handy as it was a little slippery in spots on the way down.
