    Thanks Andrea for leading us on this hike. Ten of us met at Park Royal. The weather forecast was 60% rain. We had some periods of light rain. We couldn’t see any peak surrounding us while hiking. It was a mystique hike. Since I had hiked on this trail two times in the past. I was trying to visualize Diamond head, Opal cones and Mamquam peaks. We had our lunch at the Elfin Lakes shelter. The rain was kind of turned into scattered showers over the lunch time. We didn’t need any sunscreen and bug sprays!
