Although this weekend I am sidelined with a virus, last weekend’d B hike on Black Mtn was superb. Clear skies, sunny and beautiful scenery. Carol lead us up the mountain at a brisk pace to have a brief lunch at the Donut…a viewpoint overlooking the Sunshine Coast then we were off down into a gulley and to the south to Eagle Bluffs, where we looked down on the Lower Mainland slowly being covered with fog and had another chance to have lunch. Thanks Carol, your cheery disposition and trail leading skills that made for an enjoyable Sunday outing. There were 24 hikers on the hike including 2 guests we picked up.
