A week ago, four of us met at Parkgate Community Centre parking lot for carpooling up parking lot at the end of Mt Seymour Rd. My recent memory with the Dog Mountain trail was from snowshoeing trips… It was interesting to see the tree roots on the trail! We did this hike clockwise direction as recommended. The Suicide Bluff trail was soft and smooth since it is not used as much as the Dog Mt trail. I liked one of the signs (Wrong Way to Parking Lot) on the Suicide Bluff trail to discourage the hikers who might enter this trail accidentally while hiking on the Dog Mt trail.. We enjoyed stopping at each view point for snack and lunch with great views of Vancouver and surrounding mountain areas.

Time: 4 hours (moderate pace)
