Thank you Blair for leading this local mountain hike. Five of us met at the trailhead at Mount Seymour. We were welcome by the blizzards at the start. We decided to do the hike with just micro spikes without snowshoes. The snow was in very soft and sluggish conditions around the lake. The First Lake loop was voted out. All of us are happy with a short in and out Dog Mountain hike on the well packed trails. It’s a pleasant snow hike among the trees. Thank you everyone coming out even on a ‘not’ perfect weather day.
