It was a wonderful cycling circuit hosted by Lesley and attended by 3 others. Left Planetaruim and headed west along the seaside ending up at Lesley’s for muffins, coffee, and a botanical lesson in her backyard. Off towards UBC Endowment Lands to survey the Camosun Bog with its wide variety of vegetation, then east along Marine Drive thru the Musquem Reserve to Deering Island Park on the Fraser River for a lunch break. Rode north back into the UEL to UBC campus to see a whales skeleton then back along the seaside. A trip of about 50 km. A marvellous day!
