Thanks Barry for planning about this hike and leading us. Nine of us left the Park&Ride at Park Royal around 8 am. The plan was to drive to the end of “logging spurs”. After parking the cars at the last junction, we started to hike around 11:00am. Barry mentioned that last year he parked at the end of rough road. But the road was overgrown.
Snow was partially melted between the trees (bushwhacking section of the trail). We thought that there were no trail while ascending. We saw a few pink ribbons between the trees while descending. Still required bushwacking.
We were at the summit (1,874m) around 2 pm. We chilled out at the summit, enjoyed sunny afternoon. The view from the top was fantastic: you could be able to see Garibaldi, Black Tusk, Table Mountain, Garibaldi Lake, Triconi, Tantalus range and beyond while eating our sandwiches and snacks…

We started descending around 3pm. I wished to have my rain pants while sliding down steep snow covered hills…
We arrived to parking spot around 5:30 pm.
