I led a Northshorehiker’s hike to cinder cone. An old dormant volcano in the Garibaldi provincial park near Whistler. It was cold on top, but we had 10 enthusiastic hikers. Average age was maybe 30? Yes, it felt like walking on the moon with all the surrounding lava rock and unique plant life.
great group of people and we had loads of fun. Stats: 27 km, 1000 m elevation gain
