I was surprised to see 7 eager hikers waiting at 9:30 am at the Rice lake parking lot. There were 4 new members in attendance. Helen said she recently moved to North Vancouver in January and join NSH two weeks ago and this was her first trip with us. Then Craig said he moved to North Vancouver a week ago from Wales and joined NSH two days ago and that this was his first trip. To top that off, Ian said he moved to North Vancouver 1 day ago and join NSH two hours ago! No just kidding…the latter one that is.
It is quite amazing to see our Club grow leaps and bounds.
Carole lead a perfectly organized trip and told us about the area. After lunch, the the weather turned out to be sunny and warm. Thanks Carole for volunteering to lead a trip for the club. We need more Caroles!
