Two potential new members joined the five of us for this easy, no-climb hike, on a perfect sunny Sunday (sunny, but cold: thank you my fellow hiker for kindly issuing me with your ‘handwarmers.’ It helped!) There’s much to see along this distance: from urban areas to forest, traintracks, refineries, marine industries and, at the destination, a choice between the famous Port Moody-produced pies and the breweries and food trucks along Rocky Point Park. We went to both and indulged! We returned to the starting point by bus, happy and satisfied.
