7 of us completed the modified BP#3 from West Vancouver (started from Brother Creek trail) to Cypress Bowl (downhill ski) parking lot. We enjoyed mostly the forest hike with some sun exposures crossing over the cross country area. We started at 8:45 and finished at 1:45. We are happy to go home just before the rush hour starts.
The stats are 12.4km with 350m elevation (from my watch)
Brother Creek crossing is doable with scrambling up from the creek leading by Fern. She rocked and created a safe path for us to follow… Big thank you to Fern… and everyone for coming out and be adventurous.
The last leg BP4 – Horseshoe Bay to Black Mountain (finished at Cypress Bowl again) is on Thursday, 7/18 – if you are interested to join me, check hike update for meeting details. Katy
