The early start plan did not work well as the leader was caught in the traffic. At 7:45, the group split with one member doing BCMC. The rest of the group decided to walk BP in the opposite direction as driving to Lynn Headwaters to start was not the best option due to a delayed start.
Then, we waited for a member to come back from Lynn Headwaters to start the hike from Grouse.
The group officially started at 8:05 at a steady pace. Since we don’t have the cars at both ends, we decided to turn around just before Mountain Highway.
Three happy hikers did part of the BP2 hike and returned to Starbucks for a refreshing cold coffee at 12:30pm. It’s a short relaxing hike after all and no need to fight the traffic back to Vancouver.
Thank you everyone coming out so early in the morning…. I will combined BP3 and BP4 to one single hike… subscribe hike update for details. Katy
