Thank you for 7 hikers came out to join me in the iffy weather on the first leg of BP Trail. We carpooled to Deep Cove trailhead where we started at 9:00 am.   The rain held off until the very end of the trip when we were climbing up and down the stairs in the Lynn Canyon.

According to my watch, we did 14.02km with the highest elevation gain of 664m.  The total elevation we made will be more than this as there are MANY MANY going up and down as Baden Powell trail is known for… this adds to all the fun we had!

We had a quick snack break at Quarry Rock and good lunch in the forest where all trails met.

At Hyannis junction, one hiker left us and was picked up as pre-arranged.   The rest of us finished at the End of the Line Cafe around 2:30.   The hiking time was under 6 hours.. a perfect B hike!

Thank you everyone coming out to join me and keep “true blue” on BP trail… all of you are awesome!

We will continued the climbing stairs at Lynn Valley, then onto Grouse Mountain (Cleveland Dam)

Signed up by Friday – 5/10 at 6:00 pm to get the meeting details and carpool arrangements.

The two sites below, showed different distance and elevation gain, let’s find out our own.
