Five of us rode behind Bengul, today in the warm summer day.
We cycled from Riverside & Dollarton Highway to walk in Maplewood Flats. We rode to Kates Park then onto Deep Cove for lunch and a swim. Two of us managed to get reprimanded by the RCMP on a motorcycle for a traffic violation 128 (1) (a). Don’t know what that is? He reminded us that cyclist often complained about motorists but here we were not following the traffic rule 128 (1) (a) – running a yellow light. Well I am not going to do that again. Luckily he didn’t give us the $120 fine each!
We went swimming at the beach at Deep Cove and forgot the whole possible ticket. We followed Seymour Parkway (what a long hill) to Spirit Trail observing every traffic light on our way back.
A great way to spend a summers day.
