Five hikers met at the Horseshoe Bay trailhead on a beautiful clear day. Two members (one being the leader) and 3 guests, started the hike at 9:45. The trail was not busy at all during the ascent up the Baden-Powell trail. Some of us found the, seemingly endless, steep boulder field challenging. Once we reached the top of this rocky stretch, we stopped for a lunch break. The views of Howe Sound, UBC and beyond were stunning. We continued to  Eagle Bluffs, which was quite crowded. There were many hikers in both directions as we made our way past Black Mountain and then onward to Cypress parking lot, where we arrived at 15:45. Thank you, Donna, for pushing me my usual limits and doing this exploratory B3c hike, and thank you to the husbands who dropped us off at the trailhead, and then fetched us at Cypress Mountain..
