This trail was covered in snow and closed two weeks ago, so it was a pleasant surprise that it was snow free and open officially. 8 club members met at the church at 7:30 am. After buying food, gas, Gondola tickets, and walking across the swinging suspension bridge, we started hiking at 11 am. The hike had gorgeous views to Cheakamus lake and Garibaldi Provincial Park. The newer hikers took many photos. After the hike, we took the peak to peak gondola to Blackcomb mountain, had a cup of tea in the chalet and then took the new high speed blackcomb gondola back down. All in all, a prefect hike in the most incredible scenery in the world.
