Alpen Ski and Snowshoe Trip

• 8 people (4 skiers + 4 snowshoers) attended.
• We drove up the Mamquam FSR about 10 km then up the Alpen spur to about elevation 800 m. before being stopped by snow.
• Skied and snowshoed up the road to the cabin at about 1400 m.
• Conditions were a bit icy at the bottom but softened up higher.
• At the cabin the group split, 6 people continued on to the sub-summit and summit.
• Back at the cars, we enjoyed a quick beer tasting event hosted by Alastair.
