On Tuesday, September 17th, eight North Shore Hikers set out from the old Buck trailhead at 10 AM, embarking on a scenic adventure to Quarry Rock and back via the Baden Powell trail. This hike welcomed two new members to our North Shore Hikers, and as always, Lesley Bohm led the way with a scenic and interesting route.
The weather was perfect—mild temperatures, and even a sprinkle of sunshine on our return. When we reached our lunch spot at Quarry Rock, we were treated to breathtaking views of Burrard Inlet and Deep Cove, surrounded by fellow hikers soaking in the beauty of North Vancouver.
The trail featured views of impressive Heritage trees and a variety of colorful mushrooms. With its mix of elevation gains and friendly conversations, this A hike was a delightful escape into nature.
Big thanks to Lesley for leading such a wonderful and invigorating mid-week hiking adventure that we all enjoyed.
