This is what we are planning:
1) A six day schedule of hikes and rides in the Penticton area. The local Penticton outdoor club is assisting us with leaders and trek ideas.
2) Accommodations will be suggested but not provided   One must make their own arrangements. At that time of the year there are plenty of motels in the $100 range for two.
3) Carpooling there is preferred and participants email list can be used to contact people and make suitable arrangements. Club mileage policy will apply.
A preview of hikes proposed:
1- McIntyre bluff + side trip to pictographs
13km/570m/4hrs--trailhead in Willowbrook on Johnson crescent($5 per person)
2- Eagle bluff loop
13km/600m/4hrs. McIntyre creek road (opposite Vaseux campground) past the farm.
3- Apex loop
15km/600m/5 to 6 hrs--starts at km18 on Nickel plate road.
4- Keremeos Columns  near Keremeos, a geological phenomenon.
12kms/600m--road hike
Parking on Liddicoat road.
5- Hawthorn mountain
13km/750m/5hrs
Starts at Mahoney lake at yellow gate
6- Guy s cache loop
12km/3 to 4 hrs.
Trailhead at White lake parking.
I will lead at least two  bike rides: Skaha lake/ Okanogan Falls, and 30 km of KVR, but the local club can add several more.
