Interested to Hike in Europe?

Request for Expressions of Interest

Diane Allison, one of our club members, is planning a hiking trip in Austria in July 2024. She would like to gauge the interest this trip will raise among our members. Please contact her directly at diane.hiking@gmail.com. Based on your response, she will organize an initial planning session in early January.

Her plan is to go for 3 weeks at the beginning of July, hiking from town to town or mountain hut to mountain hut, beginning in St. Johann and ending in St Anton. The trail is slightly north of Innsbruck, a lot of it is through the Karwendel National Park  The hikes are mainly C hikes and there is no scrambling.

It is possible for some to join the trip for shorter lengths!! Contact Alison to find out more about this exciting trip- one of many that our club is planning for 2024.
